Mobile Terms

These terms cover text messages from Laurie’s Love, Inc. (“Laurie’s Love”, “we”, “us”). They apply together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The program

Laurie’s Love text messages keep you up to date on what you asked about. That includes event details and reminders for the Laurie’s Love Legacy 5K Fun Run & Walk and other Laurie’s Love events, registration and packet pick-up information, replies to your questions, and news from Laurie’s Love.

How you opt in

You opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages, for example on a form on laurieslove.org or laurieslovelegacyrun.org. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of registering for an event, donating or buying anything.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will receive more messages close to an event you have asked about.

Cost

We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages. We will send one message to confirm, and then no more. To join again, opt in the same way you did before.

Carriers and delivery

Text messages are available on most major United States carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older, and the account holder of the mobile number or have the account holder’s permission. If you change or give up your number, reply STOP first or tell us, so the next owner does not receive your messages.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the service providers that deliver the messages for us. See our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
